Tidbits of Joy was made for The 48 Hour Film Project. Production crews compete in numerous cities across the United States each year to make a seven-minute video from start to finish in two days. All entries must include the same character (Reginald R. Mumford), the same significant prop (a greeting card), and same key line of dialogue ("there is a first time for everything") which are announced at the beginning of the 48 hours. Each crew is also given a specific genre to work within. We were chosen to make a mockumentary.

Our crew consisted of about 25 creatives working together furiously against the clock. My function was to help create the sets. I also worked to find and fabricate props which was rewarding when the film won best use of prop.

Tidbits of Joy won several awards in the Little Rock competition, including best film and went on to the festival's national competition the next year at the San Jose Cinequest Film Festival.
